Hello and welcome to the Amaroso Barbado Kennel. We are a small hobby breeder and we are excited to share with you our passion for the rare, and newly recognized, Barbado da Terceira dog.

In the Azores, they are known as a utilitarian dog; a herder par excellence. We know them also to be snuggle bums, bed cover stealers, and comic relief. They bond with their people deeply and intensely but can’t resist greeting everyone they meet as a long-lost friend.
